朝食をすましてからのコーヒータイム。いつものように編み物をしながら今日の予定を考える。コーヒーを飲みながら、行ってみたいところに思いを巡らす。

I’m finished with breakfast and enjoying a cup of coffee.As usual, I think about how to spend my day while I knit.I think about where I’d like to go, as I take another sip.

お昼過ぎにようやく出かけることに。今日は電車に乗って、少し遠くの教会を見学に行こうかな。あとの事はそこで考えよう。

After lunch I finally make plans and decide to go out.Perhaps I’ll take a train and go visit a church a little ways away.I’ll plan the rest of my day when I get there.

お目当ての教会に着いた。昼間でも荘厳な教会の中は、うっすらとしていて空気がピンと張りつめていた。気持ちが洗われたような気がする。

I arrive at the church of my destination.In the solemn church at midday, there is a glowing light.The atmosphere is intense.I feel my heart tenderly cleansed.

教会を出て、周りをぶらぶらと。近くにあった公園で、やっぱり編み物をすることに。朝とはまた違った気持ちで作品に向かい合うことができたみたい。

I leave the church and stroll around the neighborhood.I stop at a nearby park to enjoy knitting, of course.My relationship with this creation feels a bit better than this morning.
