この前から編んでいたニットキャップ。 上手く出来たから、休日に早速一緒にお出かけ。 朝から天気もいいので、近くの森に新鮮な空気を感じに。

I started knitting a cap the other day.It turned out nicely, so I’m wearing it out on my day off.The weather’s good today. I think I’ll enjoy some fresh air in the woods.

秋の柔らかい光を浴びた森の緑が、風に揺れている。 淡い緑から深い緑のグラデーションが一つの枝に揺れているのをみて 次の作品のイメージが湧いてくる。

The forest green drenched in the soft autumn light is swaying in the breeze.On a branch, I see the fluttering gradation from light to dark green.It gives me an idea for my next project.

太陽をいっぱい浴びて帰ってきた。 ニットキャップを壁にかけた。 これまで編み針と一緒だったニットキャップが作品になった感じがした。

I’m home now after a day in the sunlight.I’ve hung my knit cap on the wall.I see it now as a creation, independent from the knitting needles.

いっぱい歩いて疲れたのか、気付いたら少し寝ていた。 窓を見るとあんなに天気が良かったのに、少し雨が降っていた。 降らないうちに、一緒に出かけられて良かった。

I fell asleep. I must have tired myself out with all that walking. Looking out the window, the weather has taken a turn and it has started to drizzle.I feel lucky that I went out with my knit cap before the rain.
